Church of the Nazarene Found Logo
THE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE FOUNDATION
retained us to design their entire identity package,
including the logo shown above (more about that below), letterhead, envelope, business card,
presentation folder and corporate brochure.

When they approached us, they had no idea what they wanted for their identity.
After much probing with a large diverse committee, we suggested that they focus on an identity that featured the
FIVE LOAVES & TWO FISH,
a classic Bible story that represented how Jesus fed thousands with
five loaves and two fish. Being able to take the donations of church members and turn it into much more
seemed like the appropriate symbolism.

They concurred about this direction and we designed several iterations of this concept.
The one they selected is seen above.
The five loaves are represented in print form as black foiled debossed "loaves" as are the "dots" surrounding the name. The fish are embossed gold foil.
All of the business cards, note cards and
presentation folder/brochure cover has this treatment on textured black stock.

Their goal with all of this was to appeal to a wide range of potential Foundation donors in a VERY classy, understated fashion.

The response has been resoundingly positive and lead to other design projects with the Foundation and the
Church of the Nazarene HQ.
